As Nicky Hilton revealed her new collection, Nickolai at Fashion Week in L.A. last week, there were more comments on Nicky's shrinking frame than on her collection.

While eating disorders are not cool, I think Nicky looks quite pretty in the picture to the left taken at a movie premiere a few days ago. Let's hope she gets over whatever is causing her weight loss and finds a happy medium between her weight now and last year.

After all of the nekkid pictures of Audrina posted everywhere online, I think it's safe to say the worst is over and by next week, (well at least after The Hills Season 3.5 premiere is over) the scandal will have completed its course and blown by.

I think Audrina handled it well, given she had months knowing these pictures were going to surface at one point. Taking ownership and moving on in a positive light was the best stance to take in my opinion.

America's newest sweetheart and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively keeping up appearances. She also popped up in Scottsdale, Arizona for SuperBowl festivities. What I love about this girl is whether dressed up or dressed down with little to no makeup, she always looks gorgeous. Fresh-faced is clearly the new black eyeliner.

As MK’s name has been in the news recently for more reasons than one, I thought it was appropriate to recap the highlights of these news stories. The two pictures on the left were taken at Sundance in Utah during the past week where MK is promoting her new movie, The Wackness. Celebrity photographer, Henry Garfunkel captures MK (and many others) on Polaroid. The second picture screams hotness with MK and Colin Farrell side-by-side. Not gonna lie – these are two of my favorite celebs of all time.

Next to clarify MK’s name in association with Heath Ledger’s death. The New York Times falsely reported that Heath Ledger had been found in MK’s NYC apartment when in fact, Heath’s masseuse upon realizing Heath was non-responsive knew MK and Heath were friends and using Heath’s cell phone, speed-dialed MK. MK told the masseuse that she would call her security people in NYC who arrived at Heath’s apartment at the same time as the emergency response team.

I think many are still shaken by Heath’s death – a death of someone so young, talented and seemingly healthy. I hope many take this time to celebrate his life, his accomplishments and his daughter.

That pretty much clears up MK speculation and thoughts are with her in her celebration of The Wackness. Up next – anxiously waiting The Row, spring collection……can’t wait.

In Limbo

I always find this time of year to be one of limbo. The weather is shakey and so is fashion options. The landscape is bleak and it’s difficult to have a fresh look among so many limited options. Some spring lines are beginning to emerge in boutiques and shops, but most items are too cold to wear just yet and December 2007 items have been thrown on one too many times. With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, give it another two weeks or so and the sun will be brighter, weather warmer and clothing options broader. Until then, one suggestion: layers. Layers allow for you to pair that sleeveless top with a winter-warm sweater and cropped jacket and show off many different combinations throughout the day as layers are removed or more pieces are added. Release your cabin-fever – go crazy with fabrics and patterns. But remember, the suggestion to do so comes with a two-week deadline. I LOVE short-skirt weather and I think March is a completely appropriate month to break-out in a fringed-hippy-inspired mini…30 + days and counting….

Lauren's dress sure seems similar to the one she selected to wear at Area for what was supposed to be the finale episode of season 3 of The Hills. In any case I like Lauren's shorter and slightly darker hair.

Annnnnd....it's time to review the year and make predictions for the upcoming one. From the multiple new lines of ready-to-wear collections to the number of celebrities who played on the wrong side of the law, one lesson was learned this year: invest in hot lingerie because that short skirt or tight top is definitely not going to stay how it should and the paparrazi will ensure it be photographically-documented for the rest of the world who missed the live event. I think it is also time to start a tradition, a list reviewing this year's obsessions and a list of predictions for 2008.

More than ever this year, we have had a chance to be upclose and personal with our favorite celebrities. There are few moments in their (public) lives that were not scrutinized, photographed or written about in papers, magazines, or online and as such in comparison to previous years, we have even more access to beauty and fashion secrets and celebrity personal lives including the many Starbucks or Pinkberry runs a star make a day. Who said photographs of the Olsen twins puchasing Starbucks would ever get old? More than a hundred times this year, it has been one of the lead stories or photographs of the day for the online version of a magazine, popular blogs, and celebritity television segments. My one hope and prediction, while I love the Olsen's fashion sense to pieces, that in 2008 when they are the feature story it is for something other than buying Starbucks or walking on the street with a Starbucks in hand. Also, I hope David Beckham is in the news for something other than just appearing in public.

Now for the beginning of the lists.......

Obsessions of 2007:
1( The Row and Elizabeth and James. My favorite starlet, Miss Mary-Kate Olsen and sister Ashley really didn't disappoint when they unveiled their two new clothing lines all across the globe this year. The Row mixes expense fabrics and cuts and is a more upscale fashion line while Elizabeth and James offers an equally-trendy collection, priced in a range more attainable for a fashionista on a budget. The Row sold out at Neiman Marcus in it's first week I believe and with good reason. I can't wait to see what this year has to bring for the line.
2) George Clooney....I don't know what it is about this guy...it could have something to do with his dapper looks, sense of humor, sense of hummanity and charm that allowed him to make a successful Ocean's Thirteen, meet his first publicly-known, seemingly longterm girlfriend in the last decade, and continue to partake and organize charitable events to benefit those in crisis. I will not lie, this obsession began as a little girl in love with the television series ER and with it's most endearing doctor. I would have given anything to play Juliana Margulies' character on that show.
3( Spain - it was my first time in this country this year and I now understand why once you visit it, you keep coming back. I think everyone should visit at least once in a lifetime. From the crystal clear water to its white sand beaches, and upbeat but no rush culture, Spain is the way to live or at least vacation.
4) Ballet flats - confortable, ability to be worn with pretty much any outfit and selection from the $15 Old Navy version to the $500 Christian Dior option this style is here to stay. Ballet flats seem to be able to complete any outfit or allow a girl to tred across campus comfortably or take on New York City with ease without sacrificing the finishings of an outfit.
5( Weeds - from the plot to the genuinity of the actors, and guest-starring MK Olsen didn't hurt either, this show plays to the attention of teens, mothers, parents, pot-smokers, artists and the list goes on. Cheers to a 4th season of Mary Jane.
6) The Nicole Ritchie turnaround - from her chic maternity style to her devotion to children charities, Nicole has become the postergirl for good girl behavior.
7( Lauren Conrad and her ability to spin her reality show success into a successful clothing line and other collaborations to come.
8) America's Next Top Model. You would think by the 9th season of a reality show, it would be getting a little redundent, but like Tyra Banks herself, the show seems to revamp and rejuvinate itself to the point of allowing viewers to have the freshest insight into the current modelling world in America and learn about another culture and it's modeling world abroad. I didn't particularly love any of the girls this season, but their photoshoot at the Great Wall of China was nothing other than breathtaking.
9( Funky nailpolish. Rihanna selected both yellow and a vibrant green to play up her funkiness, Lindsay Lohan often opted for black. This year we learned expression should never be limited to clothing choice but should be thought about from head to toe nails. My favorite this year was obscenely flourescent pink.
10) Cocktail rings. I love the simplicty of Tiffany's stackable cocktail ring and also the uniqueness of any vintage find or buy.

Predictions for 2008:
Instead of breaking it down (by number), I'm just going to write. I think this is the year for 70's-inspired everything: light denim, free-flowing, feathered-hair, vibrant-colored accessories, enormous-sized-thin-formed-round sunglasses, flower-patterned skirts, wide-legged pants, bright pink lipstick, embroidered fringes and blouses, etc. I love this era and I can't wait for spring fashion to arrive. I can't wait to buy my first long-strapped, tiny-formed purse of the year.

Anyway, I'm out. Make sure you have a killer dress and a flute of chamagne in hand tomorrow.

Accessory of the Year

Ok, I know I have been absolutely brutal as of late in terms of fashion and celebrity goss. I can offer many explanations, but I don't think they would justify anything. I will share some insight into my world, however at the end of this post. I think it is time to share a little more of my life with those who don't know me as well as some of you do and as a thank you for continuing to be interested in my take on fashion and celebrity.

First things first, this is my favorite outfit of the entire year, pictured on the left. You are all likely surprised. One color, minimal accessories, natural hair, SIMPLICITY with a brilliant focus on a pair of the most amazing sandals I have ever seen. Mary-Kate Olsen brought in the extreme gladiator sandal trend of the late summer and early fall and this outfit is basically why. Not to mention the excellent choice in bag. Any mini dress and cocktail ring complete the outfit and every girl wishes she had legs like MK. A girl can only dream.

In addition, Mary-Kate was my favorite celebrity in terms of fashion throughout the year, but that should come as no surprise because she has been my favorite for the last three years.

Ok, here it goes, a little insight into my life: life is busy, lots of changes, lots of decisions. Firstly, multiple European trips are in the works for multiple reasons. One to visit one of my best friends who is in Germany for the year, I promise I will post pictures of all of the wonderful European street fashion I come across. The second is to finish off the first complete set of designs of The Tinsley Roberts Collection. This I promise to keep everyone informed of. The first graphic T long sleeve is already in a few boutique stores and hopefully online soon for all of you who don't have in-store access. The third and possibly most limbo visit is to potentially take some fashion design courses in either Paris or Italy.....weeeeeeeee. Lots of excitement and many thanks for everyone's support.

I love how Mary-Kate plays up and pulls off many different aspects of her personality in this shoot. From cute and bubbly to fashionista to undercover masquerader, this spread looks great. A Real Look at the Hills

Not because this has anything to do with fashion or an actual celebrity by any means, but because I think it's hilarious, take a look at this photo of Stephanie Pratt, sister of Spencer Pratt of The Hills. It is important to note this 'fierce' shot of Stephanie was taken at a police station in Honolulu, Hawaii after she got arrested and charged for second degree theft, promoting a dangerous drug, and promoting a harmful drug. Stephanie shoplifted when she was 20 years old with another 20-year old friend from a Neiman Marcus store in Hawaii and then claimed to have taken prescription drugs upon her arrival at a police station.

As annoying as she is on The Hills, I did think she did a good job of selecting outfits, make-up, and a hairstyle that made her appear to be not completely fake and a pretty girl. This news and photo proved me wrong.

Even though this picture of Hilary Duff has already made the circuit today in celebrity photographs/commentary, I had to post this picture again with a focus on Miss Duff's accessories. It is rare that I am ever impressed by a Hilary outfit. In fact it comes once in a few months when I even think a Hilary outfit is comment-worthy. In this photo, Hilary pulls off the hat well, with carefully, effortless wavy hair, but it is the Chanel belt that is completely fabulous. As a novelty item and as an outstanding addition to any outfit, this Chanel belt is probably one of my top ten favorite stand out items of this year. It can go with any neutral-colored outfit or with a bright color and still seemlessly pull together an outfit.

Blown away, Hilary. Plus kudos for having a Starbucks cup and talking on your cell phone in the same photo...that's what It Girls are made of.

I am in love with Tiffany's holiday charms. No matter what celebration you choose to participate in, Tiffany's has a charm for you. Or to show off your diversity, combine multiple charms on a long chain as a delicate accessory to your holiday outfit. I personally really like the snowflake charm - you can pretty much continue to wear past the holiday season and for the rest of winter. It's a good thing here in L.A. we can deal with the silver kind of snowflake rather than the freezing kind. Mixing color, fabrics and layers, Ashley Olsen as always pulls together an appropriate outfit for Kiki de Montparnasse's store opening in L.A. Pairing a fur-trimmed jacket with skinny pants puts the weight towards the top half of the outfit and Ashley's long, straight hair finishes off the look. Not sure if she was going for the nude-faced model look or thinks she's too cool for make-up, but I think a hint of make-up could have made Ashley's face stand out a little more.

You'd think Lauren Conrad has pretty much done everything already between starring on The Hills, creating her own fashion label, endless magazine cover shoots and being an L.A. socialite, but it seems Miss Conrad has saved time for dieting and hitting the gym. The results are featured on January's issue of Shape Magazine. Is it just me or is Lauren's whole appeal to the female population the fact that she is an average girl with no real outstanding talent who happened to find her way to stardom (well media coverage anyway) without really doing too much. I mean I love this girl's style and it's not like I don't watch The Hills, but I really can't believe the publicity Lauren's got for doing nothing. At least Paris managed to be completely scandalous and manipulate the media seeminglessly. Lauren hasn't had half the scandal and doesn't have an ouce of the same hold over the media that Paris has.

Pair with opaque tights or leggings, boots or ballet flats, a few pieces of gold jewellery and you're pretty much set for any holiday party. Don't forget to bring a long a spiked apple cider with this outfit.

Three Looks, One Girl

Blake Lively who plays Serena van der Woodsen, shines on camera and off with a versatility to her outfits and makeup. Above, Blake showing off three popular looks for the holiday season and proves every skin tone can handle a switch up once in awhile. First photo, Blake with smokey eyes, second plump plum lips, and third a nude face. I think the boldest for this season is bright red lips. Be careful to focus on the lip color and stay away from heavy eye make-up.

I love how this girl in the last 4 months has become The It Girl. Can't wait to see what Gossip Girl (and Blake) brings in terms of fashion and beauty. Loves it.

Yesterday I posted a picture of Mary-Kate apres lunch with Ashley at The Spotted Pig in NYC taken on Tuesday. This time, the girls chose Tribeca as the neighborhood of choice for lunch on Wednesay and visited Bubby's Pie Co. to dine out. Note that MK still is sporting the Ray Bans but has opted for a more NYC street chic outfit complete with a leather jacket and messenger bag. I thought yesterday's outfit represented MK's free-spirited-style better. Just saying...

Comfort Obsessed?

For the last few years I have been obsessed with Canadian-stretch-apparel company, Lululemon which originated out of Vancouver, B.C. I particularly like the fall set of product options such as these two products featured here, the Orchid Hoodie and the Striped Core tank. What can I say? I am in LOVE with Eric Daman (costume designer of Gossip Girl's set) style and clothing choices. His taste is impeccable, modern, classic and trendy, a combination almost nearly impossible to perfect yet he does. Leighton Meester who plays Blair is pictured on the left shooting a scene in New York City on Monday. She looks every bit the style icon and Upper East Side royalty.

Farm life at 25, I don't think so! Lily Allen made a statement that she aimed to retire at 25, not make another album and live on a farm but while attending the British Fashion Awards yesterday in London's Lawrence Hall, Lily seems as far away from country-themed as possible.

I don't love and don't hate this dress, but if you are going to go for a costumed-feel, this dress is pretty much perfect - not too over-the-top, but attention-catching enough to put you on the map for outfits to talk about that evening and appropriate for a fashion awards event. The color also compliments Lily's skin tone.

I'm glad to see Mary-Kate dining at lunch with Ashley after being released from a New York Hospital for a kidney infection. I also love the themed Thanksgiving outfit MK is sporting. It seems she has borrowed the scarf from Ashley as Ashley was seen running errands in L.A. sporting the same scarf last week. Again Ray Bans are the sunglasses of choice for MK as well as large cocktail rings the accessory. Usually MK goes for a boho look, but this ensembles strikes me as more hippyish, but I like.

As a kick-off to the Christmas shopping season and my return after the Thanksgiving weekend, it's the It Items and favorite things for Christmas posting time! Missoni's limited edition fragrance and newest scent, acqua eau de toilette, $85, adorned with colorful Missoni threads will be a popular item for the holiday season.

My favorite from the collection, pictured on the left and designed by one of my favorite style icons and It Girls, Margherita Missoni features a golden orb that contains a solid version of either the original scent or acqua fragrances for $50. Loves it.

Ashley Olsen spotted on the left looking unusually blah on Tuesday in L.A. Typical Starbucks, typical sunglasses and completely untypical fried, frizzy blonde hair and non-inspirational outfit. I like the red/white/blue scarf she is wearing because I think it's in support of the Thanksgiving weekend, but Ashley needs to get herself to a salon to fix that fried hair or to NYC to visit MK who still remains hospitalized for a kidney infection.

Leighton Meester photographed as she entered the New York City Ballet Opening Night Gala at the State Theatre on November 20th. I am more than happy to post this picture of Leighton in comparison to earlier pictures I posted of her with blonde hair. It's almost a relief to see her looking so classically-beautiful versus the heinous pictures of her out and about in NYC. This dress isn't particularly stunning but it serves its purpose. Leighton could have accented the neckline or cut of the dress by wearing a drop necklace or something but A for effort with this look.

Spotted: Hayden looking cheery at an event. One thing I will say about this girl is the fact that in the last few weeks especially, she has transitioned from being a child to a full on Hollywood It Girl. I mean in this photo, it's all in the eye-liner - the combination of her hairstyle, eye make-up, and vibrant colors made me instantly reminded of Paris Hilton, not traditional Hayden. Oh well, more to come with Hayden this week I'm sure.

I am incredibly disappointed to post these pictures of Leighton Meester dressed astoundingly heinous. I now understand why Blake Lively has garnered most of the media and in turn the public's attention for her looks and style. We can see from these pictures that Leighton's on-set look is all the on-set's costume designer. Firstly, Leighton should have not dyed her hair. This random color of blonde completely does not work for her. Second the gold top with her stomach showing paired with turquoise opened-toed sandals makes me shudder. A completely unflattering outfit and she even goes the distance to wear glasses. Leighton reminds me of Jessica from Laguna Beach in these pictures, trying to live up to her co-stars by dying her hair, wearing glasses to be different, and selecting flashy but unattractive outfits.

Bring on the Blake pictures already.

Pictured on the left Miley Cyrus chose a sweetheart cut dress to attend an awards ceremony in L.A. earlier this week and a picture of Hayden touching down at La Guardia airport in New York City yesterday. The one thing with red is almost anyone can wear it because it suits most skin tones...just make sure the brightness of the color works well when wearing in such large items. I love that Hayden is wearing such an adorable jacket and the fact that she is pulling her own suitcase showing she can look stunning and be a normal person at the same time. I'm impressed.

As the holiday season approaches it seems one way to shine and stand out from the pack is by wearing glittery or shiny material in the form of dresses. A+ for effort also if you manage to accessorize the dress with minimal but gorgeous accessories such as vibrant cocktail rings or box-like jewel-encrusted evening clutches.

Three examples in the pictures of how to pair a glitzy dress with simple accessories for a glam and bold look: Vanessa Hudgens, Fergie and Nicole Scherzinger at the 2007 American Music Awards Show at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. I particularly like Vanessa's box-purse-clutc. It ads a nice finishing touch and ties her dress, shoes, and earrings together. Well done.

Apparently Lindsay loves the color black. At the risk of looking goth it seems Linds has determined black is her color this week. The only thing that saves her black clothes and nail polish as coming across as goth is her long platinum blonde locks. Also attending the Seventh on Sale dinner gala to benefit HIV and Aids, were Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I love how in the last few months the girls have decided to go back to having the exact same hair and coordinating outfits for functions. And by coordinating I mean they seem to decide on a general theme and color for the evening and then they completely go their own way in terms of cut and design of the outfit they choose to wear.

The commonality seems to be that Ashley aims for a more forming-fitting and sleeker look than sister MK who tends to be more daring and fashion-forward and generally selects more obscure outfit such as the one she is wearing in the picture on the right.

Her choice in sky-high heels with pink accents almost make her entire outfit seem as if it has a sense of humor. Over all I still like MK's outfit the best (typical, I know) but Ashley's ensemble is nice, just not as noteworthy.

Spotted: Blake Lively looking gorgeous as she attends the Seventh on Sale Dinner Gala which benefits the fight against HIV and Aids. Firstly commentary on the outfit, second commentary on the cause.

Blake's dress is stunning. What I am really impressed by is her ability with blonde hair to pull off a yellow-toned dress. By wearing minimal accessories, not having shoes peeking out under the dress and wearing her hair half up/half down, Blake managers to focus the attention on her face and the cut and color of the dress. Well done.

Second, it's nice to see a new It Girl selecting the events she attends wisely. We have only spotted Blake at a select few events and it's nice to see the bulk of the events she attends are for a good cause and that she is not photographed partying (all though I LOVE party outfits) every second night.

Did I mention how much I heart Blake?...yeah, didn't think so.

I love how even celebrities are beginning to treat Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's new clothing brands as on par with some of their favorite typical (and much-high end) designers. Natalie Portman selected a lipstick pink dress from the Olsen's Elizabeth and James collection for the New York City premiere of her film Mr. Margorium's Wonder Emporium.

Apparently turquoise combined with black are the new It Girl colors and I can't complain because I love the combination. Rachel Bilson was spotted wearing this trend yesterday at the Awake premiere in New York. The slim black belt and black heels gracefully accent Rachel's small waist and toned legs. I also really like the asymmetricalness of the cut of the top of the dress which adds interest and leaves your eyes to be directed at the block colors.

The first two, Carmen Electra and Jamie Sigler both wore their two-tone Diane von Furstenberg dresses much earlier this fall for NYC Fashion Week and a morning talk show respectively. Paris however was seen this week wearing it out while pole dancing at a club.

I like that Paris paired it with a leather jacket but overall it looks better with bare legs and black stilettos and minimal jewelry.

I would just like to take a moment to contrast Jessica and Ashlee Simpson's style. While Jessica is pretty much always a miss in terms of selecting flattering cuts and patterns of dress and having the ability to then finish off the outfit with appropriate accessories, it doesn't even seem like Ashlee gives a thought when she puts together pretty decent outfits. I HATE how Jessica always tries to wear every current trend at the same time by choosing every popular color, fabric and accessory and wearing it as if all were meant to be together.

Not as well-known, Australian-born actress, Rachel Taylor attended the celebration after making her first big budget film appearance in Transformers. This weekend marks TAO's 2nd anniversary and Hayley Duff and Kristen Bell were on hand to celebrate among many of Hollywood's finest young celebrities. I choose these two photos because Hayley and Kristen both selected black dresses with flowy cuts and great accessories to play up their selections. Coincidentally both choose peep-toe heels although Hayley opted for the nude trend which has been popping up more and more this fall. In addition to showing more skin, Hayley wore a great cocktail ring and chunkier bracelets for a glam look matching her sequined-top dress. Kristen went more for the trendy look and brought along a vibrant yellow purse to complete her look. My preference is definitely towards Hayley's style because come on, it is Las Vegas.

I thought I would leave my favorite outfit (and It Girl) to write about last. As I've mentioned many times, the costume designer on the set of Gossip Girls is ridiculously-talented. Taylor Momsen seen in both pictures of the set of Gossip Girls is proof of the brilliance. Props both for selection of the outfit and to Taylor for her ability to pull it off. This outfit risks the chances as coming off either as tacky, too cutesy, or as trashy, but somehow Taylor looks festive, up-town holiday-stylish and every bit the private school girl every girl wants to be.

I'm not going to lie, the Hilton sisters are beginning to grow on me. Particurlarily due to their attempts at incorporating Japan street fashion into their Hollywood glamour look. Both sisters, Paris and Nicky are featured on the left at another event in Japan yesterday. I've also never been one to think Nicky was particularly beautiful, but since her slight weight loss, the additional angles in her cheekbones and long legs allow her to model clothing so well. Overall, Paris is a little more in tune with Japanese styling, but I love the simplicity of Nicky's outfit with the metal-studded heels and bare legs. Paris has a little too much going on for my liking. However I really like the girl (not sure who it is - any readers would like to fill in the name??!) standing in between the sisters. The patterns and fabrics of her dress are just on the right side of too much.

Pictured on the left, Nicky and Paris Hilton out and about in Japan yesterday. I actually like the dress Nicky is wearing which is odd because I usually don't like either one of their style, nor do I think Nicky is a good designer.

Paris' pink tights work well with her dress, but make her look a little pixiesh/Japan street style. As long as she contains the light colored dress/pink tights combination to Japan, I have no complaints.

Also up for commentary: has anyone else noticed Nicky getting thinner and thinner? She used to be the bigger of the two sisters, but it looks like things are changing. Maybe Paris is just becoming a normal size?

With the Country Music Awards today, I thought I would at least post something country-themed even though I know little about the genre myself. I do know that I like Carri Underwood's style though, particularly recently. I also like the fact that she is dating Chase Crawford (Nate from Gossip Girls). So by now, most of you have already heard of Ashley Olsen's antics with her older man....namely Lance Armstrong, but yesterday evening she chose to switch it up NYC.

After Duran Duran's Red Carpet Massacre performance on Broadway, at Gramercy Park Hotel's rooftop after-party she met up with Full-House co-star, Bob Saget.

Ashley looked excited and happy to see sister, MK once in the bar but didn't stay as long as her sister. She left with Bob and MK stayed to party with friends (after an apparently scandalous dance party in her box seats during the concert). An older but great picture of MK on the left.

I LOVE these girls' antics. Their style, the city-hopping, and basically the way they treat life is inspiring.

Of all celebrities who attended Glamour's 2007 Women of the Year Awards, Jennifer Connelly definitely had the best dress. What I love about the color turquoise, is no matter your hair color or skin tone, the colors always picks up and highlights the best of each individuals coloring. So enough about Lindsay already, let's gossip about her boyfriend instead. So far we have seen Riley out and about with Lindsay, but always taking a backseat to the starlet. Is it because he's shy? Or maybe he's actually mature and understands the industry has little interest in him.

Two things we know for sure. One, he's decent in the looks department (we know you can do better Linds but 10 points for effort). Two, he's not that tall. Isn't every Hollywood actress waiting for the tall, dark and handsome and equally-talented boy to come sweet her off her feet? Well, Lindsay might need to wait awhile before that happens. As long as she's keeps out of trouble I vote she sticks with Riley. Thoughts?

Miss Linds continued to keep up with her new good-girl persona. LiLo usually all over All Saint Day celebrations managed to have a low-key evening instead, with a dinner with boyfriend Riley Giles instead at II Sole in West Hollywood. She dined on pumpkin ravioli and festive cookies for dessert.

Spotted: Lindsay running errands in North Hollywood yesterday. You would almost think you decided on a day-time costume (a bee obviously) but I don't think this is the case.

I also like how she is now wearing her full length leggings into her ballet flats. Appropriate and comfortable for fall....a knew trend perhaps?

Ashley Olsen attended Kate Hudson's Halloween party earlier this week. She partied with Marc Jacob's (who appeared on this week's episode of The Hills) and his boyfriend at the party.

Not going to lie, this is the first picture I have seen with Ashley smiling in a long time. Cute costume - props for not just simply choosing a costume based on obvious sex appeal (unlike umm....Paris...Britney).

Real life 'hero' Hayden Panettiere pictured at a whale and dolphin awareness event in Japan above. I LOVE the choice in color of Hayden's bikini - so cute. The other thing I really like about Hayden is she is actually really naturally gorgeous. Pictured here in at least two of the above pictures, she is wearing no make-up and her skin is still flawless and glowing. No wonder she's a Neutrogena spokesperson.

Spotted: Lindsay Lohan looking California cute and wearing sunglasses after dark while out and about in L.A.

Usually at this time of day a year ago, Lindsay would be dressed to go for a pre-clubbing dinner with friends. It's nice to see her taking it easy and remaining out of trouble.

And if you're gonna go for an easy night in, you might as well look comfortable doing it right?

Barely recognizable, Nicole Ritchie leaving Fabrocini restaurant in Agoura Hills, California with boyfriend Joel Madden.

Plaid-clothed and with a new hair cut I had to look twice to recognize Nicole. Her weight gain doesn't even make her resemble her early Simple Life days post-rehab.

Not sure how much I like the bulky plaid button-down especially when we've all seen what amazing pregnancy style, Nicole has, but the haircut is cute.

Co-starts on television new hit, Gossip Girls, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester attend Tiffany & Co.'s 2008 Blue Book Collection. It was held at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC last night.

For once I think Leighton wins the wow award - it's usually Blake with the best outfits, natural beauty, and great accessories, but Leighton grabs my attention more effortlessly. Keep it coming girls.
